Itinerary
Inécia tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo to take you to Cairo International Airport for your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival in Aswan, you will be driven to Abu Simbel. After a three-hour drive, you will visit Abu Simbel site, which contains two temples; the Great Temple, built by King Ramses II, and the Small Temple, dedicated to his wife, Nefertari. The temples were dismantled and reconstructed on safer sides after the construction of the Aswan High Dam. Then, you will transfer to your hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Inécia tour guide will pick you up from the hotel in Aswan to start the tour of Aswan. First, you will visit the High Dam, an engineering miracle built in 1960 to protect Egypt from the annual flood of the Nile. Then, you will visit the Unfinished Obelisk, erected by Queen Hatshepsut. It revealed a lot of techniques used by the ancient Egyptian workers to cut rocks. Finally, you will visit Philae Temple, dedicated to the famous goddess Isis. Then, you will transfer to Aswan International Airport for your flight to Cairo.
