This 4-day Nile Cruise tour from Cairo by plane takes you on a journey through Egypt’s most famous ancient sites. Upon arrival in Aswan, you'll visit the iconic High Dam, the amazing Unfinished Obelisk, and the fascinating Philae Temple dedicated to the goddess Isis. Then, embark on your Nile cruise, enjoying full-board service while you visit the unique Kom Ombo Temple, dedicated to the arch enemies Sobek and Haroeris and the awe-inspiring Temple of Horus at Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus. The final day includes a visit to Luxor’s legendary sites, including the grand Luxor Temple and the magnificent Karnak Temples Complex. This tour offers an immersive experience into the heart of ancient Egypt, combining iconic landmarks with a relaxing cruise along the Nile.

Itinerary

1st Day: Arrival in Aswan – Full Day in Aswan

Inécia tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo to take you to Cairo International Airport for your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival in Aswan, your tour will start. First, you will visit the High Dam, an engineering miracle built in 1960 to protect Egypt from the annual flood of the Nile. Then, you will visit the Unfinished Obelisk, erected by Queen Hatshepsut. It revealed a lot of techniques used by the ancient Egyptian workers to cut rocks. Finally, you will visit Philae Temple, dedicated to the famous goddess Isis. Then, you will transfer to your Nile cruise.

2nd Day: Aswan - Kom Ombo

Full board on the Nile cruise. Possibility of an optional visit to Abu Simbel Temples, which consists of two temples; the Great Temple, built by King Ramses II, and the Small Temple, dedicated to his wife, Nefertari. At night, you will visit Kom Ombo Temple, dedicated to gods Haroeris and Sobek, who were considered arch-enemies in the Egyptian mythology.

3rd Day: Edfu - Luxor

Full board on the Nile cruise. You will visit, Edfu Temple, one of Egypt's best-preserved temples and dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus.

4th Day: Luxor - Departure

Breakfast on the Nile cruise. Then, you will visit two of Upper Egypt’s most iconic and awe-inspiring sites: Luxor Temple with its giant statues of Ramses II and Karnak Temples Complex with its famous hypostyle hall and impressive sacred lake. Possibility of an optional visit to west bank of the Nile where you can explore the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Then, you will transfer to Luxor International Airport for departure.
